We offer several opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and worship. Our adult class on Sunday mornings is a great time of learning in a small group atmosphere where every person can interact in discussing the Scripture. We also offer Sunday School classes for children. Our worship service incorporates both praise songs and traditional hymns, along with the faithful preaching of the Scripture. We have communion the first Sunday of every month and a fellowship meal following worship on the third Sunday of every month. Every Wednesday evening we meet for a fellowship meal ay 6 PM which is followed by prayer and a Bible study.
Dr. Roberts' book has written two books:
Samuel Davies: Apostle to Virginia, the biography of America's greatest ever preacher and a leader in the Great Awakening in eighteenth century Colonial America. To no man more than Davies does this country owe a debt of gratitude for both our spiritual and political freedoms as he was on the forefront of both battles.
Historic Christianity and the Federal Vision by Dr. Roberts was published in 2016. It thoroughly exposes the legalistic errors of the Federal Vision theology. Both books may be purchased at www.solafidepublications.org, at the church, on Amazon, or from Reformation Heritage Books.
All are welcome in our worship service, including small children and infants. However, we do provide both a cry room and a well-equipped, well-staffed nursery for infants and children. Our cry room is located in the sanctuary building. It is sound-proofed and has a speaker so that mothers can hear the service while tending their children. The nursery is located in the fellowship hall building and has a restroom in the nursery room for the children. Both options are provided so families with small children can worship with us without concern of disrupting the services.
We cordially invite you to worship with us where you will be warmly received at Cornerstone Presbyterian Church.
